The Digital Twins Literacy Center — a newly formed centralized place for all things Digital Twins education, outreach and research — is hosting a "Build Night" on Friday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. in W003 Pattee Library (the Immersive Lab). The Build Night, "Learn about: Immersive Technology (AR, MR and VR)" seeks to bring students together to learn more about and test out virtual and mixed-reality headsets, capture 360 video and audio, and learn how to create LIDAR 3D models with cellular devices. The ICDS Digital Twins Hub is presenting Charles Thompson III, associate and senior designer at Quinn Evans, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in ECoRE Building Room 510. Thompson will present "Digital Representation and the Built Environment: Perspectives from Practice." Registration is required by Sept. 18.
