Call for Posters — ICDS Quantum Hub Poster Session

Event Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2026

Event Time: Noon (12 p.m.) to 5 p.m.

Event Location: Bank of America Career Services 103 ABC, Penn State University Park

Registration required by Sunday, April 19, 2026, by 11: 59 p.m. EST

NOTE: If participating in and submitting a poster, poster presenters are required to attend the event IN PERSON and print their own posters. Spots are limited.

Details and Eligibility:

This competition aims to foster interdisciplinary engagement, highlight emerging student research and build a vibrant quantum community across Penn State. 

Poster competition is open to all Penn State undergraduate and graduate students working on or interested in quantum-related research topics.

The ICDS Quantum Hub welcomes poster submissions across a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Quantum computing and quantum algorithms 
  • Quantum machine learning and AI for quantum systems
  • Quantum hardware, devices and materials
  • Quantum error correction and fault tolerance
  • Quantum communication, networking and cryptography
  • Quantum applications in science, engineering and medicine
  • Software, compilers and system-level optimization for quantum computing
  • Interdisciplinary approaches to quantum science.

How to Submit A Poster:

  • Fill out the Microsoft Registration Form prior to Sunday, April 19, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. EST
  • Submit your poster abstract via the form, including: title, author(s), affiliation and contact information. Indicate whether the work is completed research or a work in progress.
  • If selected, print your poster to the correct format and attend the ICDS Quantum Hub Poster Competition event to present your work.

Guidelines:

Poster presenters/authors MUST print their own posters and bring it to the event on Wednesday, April 22, and attend the event in person.

Posters should be a standard 36×48 inches, landscape. View THIS POSTER TEMPLATE as an example.
