Hubs
The five ICDS Research Hubs catalyze multi- and interdisciplinary research collaborations that involve computational and data sciences
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is seemingly everywhere these days, and Penn State University is no exception. Penn State people work on advancing the science of AI, applying AI to important problems, and thinking about the implications of AI in our classrooms and our communities. The AI Hub is a forum for promoting these activities to inform multiple audiences about this work, thereby energizing organization across our University community.
The Quantum Hub is a interdisciplinary center housed created to position the University at the forefront of quantum information science, technology, and education. The hub connects key quantum research domains — materials, sensing, communication, computation, and simulation — through integrated programs and initiatives.
The Data Sciences Hub is a multidisciplinary and still-evolving community of researchers working in the broader data science community.
The Computational Sciences Hub drives innovation in advanced computing, modeling, and data-driven researchby tackeling complex challenges across disciplines, thereby accelerating discovery and transforming ideas into scalable solutions for a data-intensive world.
The Digital Twin Hub bridges the physical and digital worlds by fostering collaboration among researchers, industry partners, and technologists to accelerate breakthroughs.
